About

We develop innovative solutions for challenging water quality problems.

The Compact Agricultural Phosphorus Treatment Structure

The Compact Agricultural Phosphorus Treatment Structure, or CAPTure™, is a modular technology solution for removing dissolved phosphorus from agricultural tile drainage and overland runoff before it discharges to local surface waters. The patent-pending system was designed by Kieser & Associates, LLC (K&A) through support from the Great Lakes Protection Fund. CAPTure™ is the first dedicated, commercially-available system that meets the 2025 USDA-NRCS Conservation Practice Standard Code 624 for Phosphorous Removal Systems.

K&A is currently advancing commercialization opportunities for CAPTure™ through pilot applications in the Great Lakes and Mississippi River basins. We are honored to be supported by Agri Drain Corporation through production of the CAPTure™ structures, and Ecosystem Services Exchange for site engineering and system installations.

Our Values Guide Our Mission

We commit to our clients, partners, and colleagues that we:

Honor Integrity

We adhere to the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency, honesty, and accountability in all our actions and decisions.

Value Relationships

We build and maintain collaborative relationships, recognizing that trust and mutual respect are keys to success.

Foster Innovation

We strive for a creative, forward-thinking culture, continuously seeking methods and technologies that will deliver exceptional results.

Employ Solution-Minded Approaches

We identify and implement solutions that achieve the best possible outcomes while delivering business-forward strategies.

The CAPTure™ Mission

To provide a simple technology solution for reducing the mass of dissolved phosphorus that reaches our waterways. Other practices and technologies are either impractical for soluble P capture or are large footprint/difficult to maintain installations.  CAPTure™ specifically targets dissolved phosphorus with a small footprint, passive, and readily serviceable approach.
